If you are a student that has gained their private pilot licence, VFR night rating, have all PIC 100 hours built, and have passed all 13 Airline Transport Pilot Licence theory examinations, you are now eligible to begin the final stages of your modular flight training journey and start gaining your commercial ratings.
As a modular student, you should be fully aware of this and of all the correct commercial ratings needed and after training supports available to you to ensure success at interview and assessment stage with airlines. Choosing the right flight school at this level is of utmost importance so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team if you are currently training solo and nearing the beginning of these ratings. Airline Flight Academy is a new venture for outsourced sim & flying services to European Airlines from a brand-new training facility based in Santry, Dublin, Ireland. They have invested in teh state-of-the-art A320 and B737 Max simulators to provide you with highest training standards.
With all training provided by experienced and dedicated Instructors, Simtech is known globally for their reputation in high quality simulator based training. Located next to Dublin Airport, Simtech operates a fleet of Fixed-base and Full-motion Flight Training Devices best preparing students for a career in the skies. All of Simtech instructors are IAA/EASA approved professional pilots who have logged a huge amount of flight time and are passionate about passing on their vast experience to the next generation of pilots. In addition, they have a wealth of experience in helping cadets prepare for the airline interview and assessment process. Simtech provides the final stages of training to Pilot Path students before becoming fully qualified as a commercial airline pilot.
A Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is one of the final steps in your commercial flight training journey. With the aim of increasing your proficiency in your flight training skills and theoretical knowledge, this module is designed so that you are equipped to move forward to the most advanced stages of flight training.
The Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) class rating allows you to fly a twin-engine aircraft in conditions of reduced visibility while the Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) will allow you to fly with dual engines and in more complex aircraft. A MEP CPL & IR completed leave just Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (AUPRT) and APS Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training to be completed.
Support at this stage is crucial for modular students. We provide full licence to licence coordination with each training provider and full time round the clock support for any issues you may experience training away from home. Pilot Path will help you source accommodation, flights, transfers and take care of all the nitty gritty so you can concentrate on this element of your training which effectively closes off your modular flight training journey. During your training our team will be working hard in the background ensuring your CV is tailored to perfection for your chosen airline and putting in plans for aftercare interview & assessment workshops making sure you can put your best foot forward and land your dream job!
You can complete your commercial ratings up to APS-MCC stage in either Liverpool John Lennon airport or in Lodz in Poland with the world renowned Bartolini Air!
This training can be completed in approximately 12-16 weeks.

The Airline Pilot Standard Multi Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) is an enhanced MCC course to train pilots in multi-crew environment up to airline standards. The purpose of this enhanced training is to better prepare the new pilot for the job on a modern aircraft in a modern airline environment. The course is typically performed on Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320 Flight simulator and is desired by many airlines when hiring prospective cadets.
