Our core purpose at Pilot Path is guiding students to a commercial pilot licence on a part-time basis while staying in full-time employment. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t cater to students who are more flexible outside of employment commitments and wish to fast-track their training on more of a full-time basis.
If you are thinking of beginning your flight training and don’t necessarily need to do so on a part-time basis, you can dive into your pilot training with our accelerated PPL course designed for Irish and UK students at Global Flight Training Solutions (GFTS) in sunny Florida. This intensive 5-week program is perfect for those eager to begin their modular commercial flight training or fulfill their dream of flying recreationally. It’s tailored to combat the unpredictable weather back home, ensuring consistent progress in your training.
This package includes the following;
During the course, students will receive 29.4 hours of dual-instructed flight time, partnering with experienced instructors to enhance their piloting skills across various flight conditions, including takeoffs, landings, and navigation. Upon demonstrating sufficient proficiency, students will progress to 5.6 hours of solo flight time. This phase is crucial for fostering independence and confidence in the cockpit, laying a solid foundation for advanced flight training.
Includes detailed pre-flight and post-flight briefings that are integral to learning and understanding flight operations. This extensive ground schooling covers aviation theory, safety procedures, and FAA regulations, ensuring students are well-prepared for the written exams and practical flight tests.
Rental Fees for FAA Checkride: Included in the package, covering the cost of the aircraft during the FAA checkride, which is the final step to obtain your PPL. Note: FAA examiner fees are not included and are payable directly to the examiner.
Students will receive the Gleim PPL Kit, which includes comprehensive learning materials designed to guide you through both the theoretical and practical aspects of flying. This kit is instrumental for passing the FAA written exams and understanding the fundamentals of flying.
Shared Accommodation: Students are housed in shared accommodation at Pearl Founders Square Apartments, featuring en-suite bathrooms and all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Non-Sharing Option: Available for an additional cost, offering private accommodations for those who prefer individual living spaces during their training.
Car Rental: Included in the package is a car rental for convenient travel between the accommodation in Naples and Immokalee Regional Airport. This ensures easy access to the airport regardless of training schedules, enhancing the overall learning experience. Airport Transfers: Complimentary transfers to and from your chosen destination airport are included upon your arrival and departure. This service ensures a hassle-free start and end to your training journey, allowing you to focus fully on your flight training without worrying about logistical details.
From the moment you enroll, a dedicated Personal Engagement Manager from Pilot Path will support your journey. This includes assistance with VISA applications, logistical arrangements for flights and transfers, and guidance in securing medical and renter's insurance. Our team ensures a smooth transition to training in the USA, mitigating any challenges associated with international travel and training abroad.
Additional Costs Outside the Package To ensure full transparency and help prospective students prepare adequately, we outline all external fees that are not included within the training package. These costs are necessary for completing various stages of the training and certification process but are not covered by the package fee. Understanding these expenses upfront assists students in planning their budget and ensures there are no surprises during their training journey.
Don’t go it alone! The vast majority of students who attempt modular pilot training alone with no guidance fall off the wagon completely or end up in major financial pitfalls having never fulfilled their true potential and landing their dream job. We do our job to the utmost by giving our students maximum guidance throughout your journey ensuring you are training effectively and cost efficiently leaving the flying schools and instructors to concentrate on their job - teaching you how to fly a plane and become a commercial airline pilot.
