Terms and Conditions for Pilot Path Group Services: 

 

  1. Services Provided:

Pilot Path Group provides professional pilot training coordination services to assist individuals in obtaining their respective flight training experience for consideration of licencing. This includes scheduling flight lessons, theory exams, coordinating with instructors, the flight school, and arranging necessary documentation. Pilot Path Group aims to ensure students are training cost-efficiently at all times but does not, 

 

  1. Guarantee that students will gain their licence within the minimum hours required or at all. 

 

  1. Have any involvement in the physical and or theoretical aspects of training provided by the flight school or its’ instructors recommendations. 

 

  1. Payment:

The client agrees to pay Pilot Path Group the full cost of the selected training package prior to the commencement of training. Within your licence package price you will have a specified cohort of hours which will be designated as instructed flight lessons in your designated training facility, full ground school enrolment with your designated theoretical entity, full support from our team including your own designated engagement manager, commercial pilot logbook, & a copy of air pilots manual one. Skills test & exam related fees are paid directly to the local aviation authority which Pilot Path Group will support you with but are not included within your package. Theory material such as text books, and practical material such as maps, flight computers, kneeboards etc are not included within your package. Other costs such as your Class 1 or 2 medical, English Language Proficiency (ELP) exam fees, extra one to one exam tuition, or additional ground briefing fees can be supported and advised on by our team but are not included within your package price. 

 

Payment can be made upfront or via our monthly payment plans. Our payment plans are in place simply to help students spread the large costs involved in flight training. No credit agreement is signed by any party, however, if a client faulters on monthly payments, Pilot Path Group reserve the right to block any future bookings until monthly payments have resumed. All prices are subject to change, however, Pilot Path Group will endeavour to honour any package price given to the client prior to commencing training. Price increases will only ever arise through the flight school applying changes to their existing terms and conditions such as,

  1. A) The flight school introduces a higher fee for English Language Proficiency (ELP) exams.
  2. B) A new policy whereby the flight school introduces monthly maintenance or service charge fees.
  3. C) The flight school increases their skills test fees
  4. D) The flight school increases their membership fees or the frequency of their membership fee renewals.

If within your package price with Pilot Path Group you have agreed that no landing or touch/go fees will be applied, this has been built into your package already and will be honoured throughout the minimum hours stated in your agreement. 

  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 2 hours’ notice directly to the flight school or instructor for any cancellations or rescheduling of flight lessons. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of €35 payable directly to the flight school before your next lesson. The flight school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

  1. Refunds: Pilot Path Group does not offer cash refunds under any circumstances. In the event of cancellation of package by the client, refunds may be considered under exceptional circumstances in the form of credit towards future hourly training sessions, any credited flying hours will be calculated considering non refundable monies, theoretical tuition (groundschool), aircraft usage to date and any other fees paid for on your behalf by Pilot Path Group. 

 

Flying hours are transferrable for sales however Pilot Path Group restricts sale of any full or part packages unless approved internally by the Operations Director.  

 

Balanced Support: The Pilot Engagement Manager will offer comprehensive initial guidance and ongoing support to ensure each student gets what they need. However, students are also encouraged to be pro-active and self-reliant in their training to maximise the resources provided. While individual support is prioritised, it must remain within reasonable limits to ensure fair access to all students.

 

  1. Liability: Pilot Path Group does not accept liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during flight training sessions. Clients participate in flight training at their own risk. All flight instructors are fully qualified and certified, and safety protocols are strictly enforced. Any accidents or incidents that may occur during training sessions are covered under the flying school insurance policy. Pilot Path Group is a flight training coordination service and all flight training both instructional, theoretical and ground based activities are completed with the designated flight training institution.

 

  1. Safety: Safety is of paramount importance to both Pilot Path Group and our partner flight schools. Clients are expected to comply with all safety regulations and instructions provided by flight instructors. Failure to do so may result in termination of services without refund. 

 

  1. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to keep all information exchanged during the course of this engagement confidential. 

 

  1. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Ireland. 

 

  1. Amendment: Pilot Path Group reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Pilot Path Group website or other communication channels. 

 

  1. The Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act 2010)     As a designated person under the Criminal Justice Act 2010, we are required to apply customer due diligence when engaging new clients. This requires us to identify our clients. In order to identify our clients, we seek from each new client:

 

  1. A) An original passport or drivers’ licence (a copy to be made and retained by us)

              B)A recent utility bill addressed to the client (a copy to be made and retained by us)
